Docs ComplyPress — Cookie Notice & Policy Banner for WordPress
Strings you can translate
These are the only visitor strings ComplyPress registers. The group in both plugins is complypress.
| What visitors see | Polylang name | WPML name |
|---|---|---|
| Title | complypress_title | title |
| Message | complypress_message | message |
| Accept button label | complypress_ack_label | ack_label |
| Policy button label | complypress_policy_label | policy_label |
| Custom policy URL | complypress_policy_url | policy_url |
policy_url is registered only when the policy button’s link type is Custom URL and the URL is not empty. A WordPress policy page is not this string. See Policy link per language.
Empty fields are not registered. The message string is the one marked as a multiline string in Polylang.
