FAQ
Common Questions
Straight answers about what WebLucas builds, how CodeCanyon products work, licensing, documentation, and how to get support.
What does WebLucas create?
We create lightweight WordPress plugins, PHP scripts, and JavaScript tools designed to improve SEO, simplify workflows, optimize performance, and solve common web-development tasks.
What does WebLucas not do?
We do not sell WordPress themes, hosting, or full-site builds as packaged products. We also do not offer design-only services, content writing, SEO consulting packages, or ongoing managed hosting. Our focus is practical tools and custom development around plugins, scripts, and integrations.
Where can I get WebLucas products?
Our products may be available through different channels depending on the project. Premium products can be purchased through CodeCanyon, while selected free and open-source tools are available on WebLucas and GitHub.
CodeCanyon supports PHP, JavaScript, WordPress, and other web-development products, making it a natural marketplace for our premium scripts and plugins.
Are WebLucas products free or paid?
We offer both free and premium products. Free tools are intended to provide useful functionality without a purchase, while premium products may include more advanced features, extended functionality, documentation, updates, and marketplace support.
Where can I find the free plugins and scripts?
Selected free tools are published on WebLucas and/or GitHub. Depending on the project, you may be able to download the tool directly, install it as a WordPress plugin, or access its source code through the associated GitHub repository.
Are the free WebLucas tools open source?
Some are. The license depends on the individual project, so always check the repository or product documentation for the applicable license.
Do you develop WordPress plugins?
Yes. WordPress plugins are one of our main product areas. We build lightweight plugins focused on practical functionality such as SEO, optimization, productivity, website management, and developer workflows.
Do you create PHP and JavaScript scripts?
Yes. We create standalone PHP scripts, JavaScript tools and libraries, and other web-development utilities that can be used independently or integrated into existing websites and applications.
Do you sell WordPress themes or page builders?
No. We do not publish WordPress themes or page builders. Our products are plugins, scripts, and utilities that work with the themes and builders you already use.
Can I use your products on a client website?
Generally, this depends on the product and its license. Premium CodeCanyon products are governed by the applicable Envato Market license, while free/open-source projects follow the license specified for that particular project.
Do your products work with existing WordPress websites?
Our WordPress products are designed to work with standard WordPress installations, but compatibility can vary depending on the plugin, WordPress version, PHP version, theme, hosting environment, and other installed plugins.
Each product should have its own requirements and compatibility information.
Will your plugins conflict with SEO plugins like Yoast or Rank Math?
It depends on the product. Many of our tools are built to sit alongside common SEO plugins and only touch the features they own. Always check the product documentation for known compatibility notes, and avoid enabling the same feature in two plugins at once.
How do I install a CodeCanyon plugin?
After purchase on CodeCanyon, download the plugin zip from your Envato downloads. In WordPress, go to Plugins → Add New → Upload Plugin, choose the zip, install, and activate. Full steps and any product-specific setup are covered in that item’s documentation.
What is the difference between Regular and Extended licenses on CodeCanyon?
Envato’s Regular License is typically for a single end product where the end user does not pay for access. An Extended License is generally required when the end product is sold to end users or otherwise charged for. Always confirm the latest Envato license terms for your use case before purchasing.
Can I use a CodeCanyon product in multiple projects?
This depends on the applicable Envato license. Standard CodeCanyon licenses generally cover a single end product, with the exact permissions depending on the license type and product. Agencies should check the license before using a purchased item across multiple client projects.
Do I need an Envato account to get updates?
Yes for CodeCanyon purchases. Updates are delivered through your Envato/CodeCanyon account downloads (and any update method described in the product docs). Keep your purchase linked to an account you can access so you can download newer versions when they are released.
What happens when my Envato support period ends?
Your purchased item keeps working. You can still download files you already have access to according to Envato’s rules. Author support for that purchase follows Envato’s support period; you can usually renew support on CodeCanyon if you need more help later. Updates policy can differ by item — check the product page and documentation.
Do you provide documentation?
Yes. Product documentation is provided where appropriate and may include installation instructions, configuration, usage examples, FAQs, and technical information.
Good documentation is especially important for our premium products because it helps customers solve common setup and usage questions without unnecessary support requests.
Do you provide updates?
Yes, when updates are appropriate for the product. Updates may include bug fixes, compatibility improvements, security fixes, performance improvements, and new features.
For CodeCanyon products, Envato’s support policy also expects items to remain functional as described and to address major security concerns.
How do I get technical support?
For premium products, open a support ticket on WebLucas or contact us by email. Include your product name, WordPress/PHP versions when relevant, and steps to reproduce the issue. For free and open-source tools, support is more limited and is normally described in the project documentation.
What is covered by product support?
Support typically covers installation guidance, configuration help, and fixing bugs in the product as described. It does not usually cover custom development, third-party theme conflicts beyond reasonable troubleshooting, or building new features for a single client. Those requests can be handled as custom work.
Can you build a completely custom WordPress plugin?
Yes. We can develop custom WordPress plugins around your specific requirements, including custom functionality, integrations, REST API endpoints, admin interfaces, and connections with existing WordPress systems.
Do you offer custom development for agencies?
Yes. Agencies can contact us for custom WordPress, PHP, and JavaScript development, including plugin customization, integrations, functionality extensions, and development of reusable tools.
Can I request a new feature for a product?
Absolutely. If you have an idea that could benefit other users, you’re welcome to suggest it. Feature requests can help us decide what to include in future versions.
What if I need something that isn't available as a product?
That’s where our Custom Development service comes in. Tell us what you’re trying to achieve, and we can determine whether an existing product can be adapted or whether a custom solution would be more appropriate.
