Privacy Policy

Last updated: September 10, 2026

This Privacy Policy describes how Web Lucas (“the Company”, “We”, “Us”, or “Our”) collects, uses, and discloses information when You use weblucas.info (the “Website” or “Service”), and the choices You have about that information.

We use personal data to provide and improve the Service. By using the Service, You agree to this Privacy Policy.

Who we are

The Company is Web Lucas, operating the Website at https://weblucas.info/. For the purposes of this policy, Country refers to Moldova.

We make WordPress plugins, scripts, and related resources. “You” means the individual using the Service, or the company or other legal entity on whose behalf that individual is using the Service.

Information we collect

Information You provide

Depending on how You use the Service, this may include:

  • Contact and support messages: name, email address, and the content of Your message.
  • Newsletter signup: email address, if You subscribe from the blog or another signup form.
  • Account registration: first name, last name, email address, and a password (stored in hashed form). You may also choose a marketing opt-in when You create an account.
  • Password reset and email verification: we send links to the email address on Your account.

Information collected automatically

When You visit or use the Service, we may collect usage and diagnostic data such as IP address, browser type and version, pages visited, date and time, time spent on pages, referring URL, and device information. On mobile devices this may also include device type, operating system, and browser.

If You create an account or sign in, we keep a security log of events such as registration, login, logout, password reset, and email verification. Those logs include email address, IP address, user agent, and the time of the event. We also use IP address for short-term rate limiting on forms (contact, subscribe, login, and registration) to reduce abuse.

Purchases

Plugin licences sold through CodeCanyon or another marketplace are processed by that marketplace. Payment details (such as card numbers) are collected by the marketplace, not by Us. That provider’s privacy policy applies to those transactions. We may receive Your marketplace username, email, purchase details, or licence information as needed to deliver support and licence access.

How we use Your information

We use personal data to:

  • Provide, operate, and maintain the Website, accounts, and related features.
  • Respond to contact, support, and licence questions.
  • Create and manage Your account, verify Your email, and reset passwords.
  • Send service messages (for example security notices, verification, or password reset emails).
  • Send news or product updates if You opted in (newsletter or marketing checkbox). You can ask Us to stop at any time.
  • Protect the Service, including spam checks, rate limits, and investigating abuse.
  • Improve the Service, including understanding how pages are used.
  • Comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms.

Cookies and similar technologies

We use cookies and similar storage needed to run the Website. We do not currently use advertising or analytics cookies on the Service.

Necessary cookies

If You sign in, WordPress sets session cookies (including logged-in cookies) so we can keep You authenticated and protect Your account. These are essential for the account area.

Spam protection

Contact, registration, login, and password-reset forms may use Cloudflare Turnstile. Cloudflare may process a token and limited technical data (such as IP address) to confirm that the request is from a real visitor. See Cloudflare’s privacy policy.

Theme preference

If You choose light or dark theme, that preference is stored in Your browser’s local storage (not as a cookie). It stays on Your device and is not sent to Us as a profile.

You can refuse cookies in Your browser. If You do, some parts of the Service (especially signing in) may not work.

When we share information

We do not sell Your personal data. We may share it with:

  • Service providers who help us host the Website, send email, or stop spam (for example hosting, email delivery, and Cloudflare Turnstile).
  • Marketplaces such as Envato/CodeCanyon, when a purchase or licence check requires it.
  • Public authorities, if we are required by law or a valid legal request.
  • A buyer of our business, if we merge, sell assets, or reorganise, in which case we will take reasonable steps so Your data remains protected.
  • Anyone You ask us to, when You give consent.

If You post something in a public area of the Service (for example comments, if enabled), that content can be seen by others.

Retention

We keep personal data only as long as needed for the purposes in this policy, including to provide the Service, keep security logs, resolve disputes, and meet legal requirements.

Account data is kept while Your account is active and for a reasonable period afterwards if we still need it (for example licence or support records). Contact messages and subscriber emails are kept as long as needed to reply and to run the list You joined. Rate-limit records are short-lived. Auth logs are kept for security and abuse prevention and then removed when they are no longer useful.

Where data is processed

Your information is processed in Moldova and in other places where we or our service providers operate. That may mean it is transferred to a country with different data-protection rules than Your own. We take reasonable steps so that Your data is treated securely and in line with this policy.

Your choices and rights

You may request access to the personal data we hold about You, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, subject to legal exceptions (for example records we must keep). You may withdraw marketing consent at any time by contacting Us or using the unsubscribe option in an email we send.

If You have an account, You can sign in to review the details associated with it. To close an account or request deletion, email Us using the addresses below.

Security

We use commercially reasonable measures to protect personal data, including hashed passwords and access controls on the account area. No transmission or storage method is 100% secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Children’s privacy

The Service is not directed at anyone under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13. If You believe a child has provided Us with personal data, contact Us and we will take steps to remove it.

The Service may link to sites we do not operate, including marketplaces, social networks, and documentation hosts. Their privacy policies apply when You leave our Website. We are not responsible for those sites.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The new version will be posted on this page and the “Last updated” date will change. You should review this page periodically. Changes take effect when they are posted.
